Apple has introduced a new Black Unity Braided Solo Loop for the Apple Watch to commemorate Black History Month. This launch continues the company's tradition of offering special edition accessories that celebrate diversity and history.
The latest band features a unique design crafted by Black creatives and partners within the company. It utilizes the iconic colors of the Pan-African flag and is constructed using 16,000 recycled polyester yarn filaments. These are woven together with high-precision braiding machinery to create a product that is both sweat-resistant and water-resistant while remaining soft to the touch.
The Black Unity band is compatible with Apple Watch Series 4 and newer models, including the Apple Watch SE and Apple Watch Ultra. It is sold in 42mm and 46mm case sizes, with band sizes ranging from 0 to 12. Customers can purchase the band for $99 on the official website starting today, with retail store availability beginning later this week.
