EU Energy Labels Confirm Galaxy S26 Battery Specs
Samsung is launching the Galaxy S26, S26+, and S26 Ultra on February 25. Just days before the official announcement, mandatory EU Energy Labels have surfaced online. These documents confirm the exact battery capacities for all three flagship models.

Galaxy S26 Gets the Biggest Upgrade
The vanilla Galaxy S26 is the only model receiving a battery boost compared to last year's lineup. According to the EU Energy Label, it packs a rated capacity of 4,175 mAh. Samsung will market this as 4,300 mAh typical capacity. This represents a meaningful improvement over the Galaxy S25's 4,000 mAh battery.
S26+ and S26 Ultra Specifications
The Galaxy S26+ carries a rated battery capacity of 4,755 mAh, which Samsung will advertise as 4,900 mAh typical. Meanwhile, the flagship S26 Ultra features a 4,855 mAh rated capacity, marketed as 5,000 mAh typical. Both models maintain the same battery sizes as their predecessors. Samsung seems focused on refining performance rather than pushing for larger power cells this generation.
Durability and Sustainability Ratings
Beyond raw capacity numbers, the EU Energy Labels reveal additional durability information. All three phones retain at least 80% of their initial battery capacity after 1,200 full charging cycles. This longevity metric matters for users planning to keep their devices for multiple years. The IP68 rating for dust and water resistance also returns across the entire lineup.
Drop Resistance and Repairability Scores
The labels also assign ratings for physical durability and repairability. All three models earn an A rating for drop resistance, indicating robust build quality. However, they only receive a C rating for repairability. This suggests Samsung still hasn't fully embraced easily replaceable components despite growing right-to-repair pressure across Europe.
