Honor continues building hype for its upcoming foldable flagship. Executive Wang Fei just shared new images on Weibo that reveal the Magic V6's inner display appears completely smooth without any visible crease.
Crease-less Display Technology
When viewed straight on, the main screen looks remarkably flat. This stands out because every current foldable on the market shows some ridge along the hinge area. The images suggest Honor has solved one of the biggest pain points in foldable phone design.

Wang Fei claims Honor achieved this crease-less look without sacrificing other key specs. The phone maintains its slim profile, keeps a large battery, and delivers strong performance. This balance matters because earlier attempts at reducing creases often required compromises in thickness or durability.
Durability and Protection Features
The Magic V6 brings serious protection credentials. It carries both IP68 and IP69 ratings, making it the first foldable to hit this level of water and dust resistance. Most competitors stop at IPX8 or lower.
The display uses ultra-thin glass (UTG) for scratch resistance. It also boasts a 1.5% reflection rating, which should improve outdoor visibility in bright sunlight. An updated Super Steel Hinge drives the durability improvements and likely plays a major role in eliminating the visible crease.

Competition Heating Up
Oppo is also pushing crease-less technology with its upcoming Find N6. The race to eliminate display ridges is becoming a key battleground for foldable manufacturers in 2025.
Launch Date and Availability
Honor will officially unveil the Magic V6 at MWC Barcelona on March 1. The event happens on Sunday during the annual mobile trade show. Early leaks have already revealed a striking red color option for the device.
The combination of a crease-less screen, top-tier durability ratings, and premium build quality positions the Magic V6 as a serious contender in the growing foldable market.
