Honor has officially introduced the Magic8 RSR Porsche Design in China, expanding its high-end Magic lineup alongside the new Magic8 Pro Air. This latest collaboration continues the tradition of blending automotive-inspired aesthetics with cutting-edge mobile technology.
Inspired by Supercars
The device features a unique design influenced by Porsche supercars, including a nano-ceramic rear panel that boasts a Mohs hardness rating of 8.5 for enhanced durability. The manufacturer has also reduced the weight of the device by 10% compared to its predecessor. The camera housing mirrors the matrix headlights found on classic luxury vehicles.
Elite Display and Performance
The smartphone is equipped with a 6.71-inch quad-curved LTPO AMOLED display. It offers a 1.5K resolution, a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, and an extraordinary peak HDR brightness of 6,000 nits. Protected by Giant Rhino Glass, the screen also includes 4,320Hz PWM dimming and Dolby Vision support.
Under the hood, the phone is powered by the flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. Buyers can choose configurations with up to 24GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. The device runs on Magic UI 10.0, based on Android 16, which integrates several advanced AI capabilities.

The photography setup is headlined by a 50MP main sensor featuring a 1/1.3-inch size, f/1.6 aperture, and optical image stabilization (OIS). Additional lenses include:

Energy is provided by a massive 7,200mAh battery that supports 120W wired and 80W wireless SuperCharge technology. The device is built for durability with IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings. Other features include a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, Wi-Fi 7, and Bluetooth 6.0.

Available in Moonstone and Slate Gray, the Honor Magic8 RSR Porsche Design is priced starting at CNY 7,999 (approximately $1,150) for the 16/512GB model. The top-tier 24GB/1TB variant is positioned at CNY 8,999 (approximately $1,290).
