Infinix Note 60 Geekbench Scores Reveal MediaTek Dimensity 7400

Infinix is preparing to launch the Note 60 series, and details about the standard Note 60 model have surfaced through benchmark testing. The device recently appeared in Geekbench's database, giving us our first look at the processor powering this upcoming smartphone.

What the Benchmark Reveals

The Infinix Note 60, identified by model number X6879, runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 SoC. This is a departure from the Note 60 Pro and Ultra variants, which are confirmed to use Qualcomm Snapdragon processors. The benchmark unit came equipped with 8GB of RAM, though Infinix may offer additional memory configurations at launch.

Performance-wise, the Note 60 scored 1,055 in the single-core test and 3,097 in the multi-core test on Geekbench 6.5 for Android. These numbers position it as a capable mid-range device for everyday tasks and moderate gaming.

Software and User Experience

On the software front, the Note 60 will ship with Android 16 out of the box. Infinix has layered its custom XOS 16 interface on top, which brings updated visuals and enhanced AI features announced earlier this month.

The move to Android 16 means users can expect improved privacy controls, better battery optimization, and smoother multitasking compared to previous versions. XOS 16 also introduces refined animations and gesture navigation that feel more responsive.

Looking Back at the Note 50s

The Infinix Note 50s serves as the predecessor here. That device launched last April with the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Ultimate processor. The jump to Dimensity 7400 should deliver noticeable performance gains, especially in AI-related tasks and camera processing.

Infinix has positioned the Note series as a solid choice for budget-conscious buyers who don't want to sacrifice too much performance. The Note 60 appears to continue this tradition with competitive silicon and modern software.

The full Note 60 series launch is expected soon, with pricing and availability details likely to follow in the coming weeks. Stay tuned for official announcements from Infinix on release dates and regional availability.
