Infinix has officially unveiled the Note Edge, a new smartphone that balances an incredibly slim profile with robust performance. Boasting a thickness of just 7.2mm and weighing 185g, the device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7100 chipset and supports up to 8GB of RAM.
Premium Display and Battery Longevity
The device features a 6.78-inch curved screen with a "1.5K" resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Notably, it reaches a peak brightness of 4,500 nits and is protected by Gorilla Glass 7i. For audio, it includes dual JBL stereo speakers. Powering the handset is either a 6,500 mAh or 6,150 mAh battery, depending on the region. The company claims the battery will maintain at least 80% capacity after 2,000 charge cycles, offering roughly six years of reliable use.
Charging is handled at 45W, allowing a full charge in approximately 62 minutes. The Note Edge is the first Infinix device to run XOS 16 based on Android 16. The manufacturer has committed to providing three major Android OS updates and five years of security patches.
Camera and Build Quality
On the photography front, the phone carries a 50MP main camera utilizing a 1/2-inch sensor. A customizable side button is included for quick access to the Folax AI assistant. The phone is also IP65 certified, providing protection against dust and splashes.
Available in Lunar Titanium, Silk Green, Stellar Blue, and Shadow Black, the Note Edge will start at $200. The Silk Green variant offers a unique water-wave brushed texture, while other models feature a premium matte finish using composite materials with gem-like light effects.
