Following the debut of the standard iQOO 15 in October, iQOO has officially teased its upcoming flagship, the iQOO 15 Ultra. Scheduled for a Chinese release in early February, just before the Spring Festival, this premium model is being positioned as a high-performance device tailored specifically for gaming enthusiasts.
The latest promotional material reveals a distinct design aesthetic, featuring a circular rear camera housing accented by bold orange highlights. Most notably, the device is confirmed to include active cooling technology. A built-in fan is visible on the lower section of the chassis, designed to maintain peak performance during intense gaming sessions. Reports indicate that iQOO may even offer a unique five-year protection plan specifically for the cooling hardware.
The iQOO 15 Ultra is expected to deliver top-tier specifications, including:
- Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset
- 165Hz high-refresh-rate display
- 50-megapixel periscope telephoto lens
- Advanced thermal management and high touch responsiveness
New technical details have also emerged via industry leaks. According to recent reports on Weibo, the iQOO 15 Ultra will likely house a massive 7,000mAh battery or larger, supporting both wired and wireless charging. While recent 3C certification listings highlighted 100W wired charging, tipsters suggests that iQOO could push the boundaries further by introducing 200W fast charging support later in the device's lifecycle. This would signal a return to the ultra-fast charging speeds previously seen on the 2022 iQOO 11 Pro.
By blending enthusiast hardware with dedicated cooling, the iQOO 15 Ultra aims to compete directly with specialized gaming smartphones rather than traditional flagship models.
