iQOO has officially announced the launch date for its next-generation flagship, the iQOO 15 Ultra. The device is scheduled for a grand reveal in China on February 4, debuting alongside the new TWS Air3 wireless earbuds. While official details remain limited, the brand has confirmed a focus on high-performance gaming features and a distinct hardware design.
The forthcoming 15 Ultra will introduce a specialized active-cooling fan system and dedicated shoulder triggers. These triggers are optimized for gaming, boasting a 600Hz touch sampling rate and independent control chips for enhanced precision. The handset will be available in two distinct color variants at launch.
Leaked specifications from industry insiders suggest the iQOO 15 Ultra will be a powerhouse. It is expected to house the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, offering configurations with up to 24GB of RAM and 1TB of internal storage. The display is rumored to be a 6.85-inch LTPO flat panel featuring a crisp 2K resolution.
In terms of photography, reports indicate a triple rear camera arrangement, with all three sensors featuring 50MP resolution, complemented by a 32MP front-facing camera. To support its high-end performance, the device will reportedly feature a massive 7,400mAh battery with 100W fast charging and an advanced ultrasonic fingerprint sensor for secure unlocking.
