The upcoming iQOO 15 Ultra is set to redefine mobile gaming experiences with the introduction of advanced hardware features. A senior company official has confirmed that the flagship smartphone will include capacitive touch-based shoulder triggers, designed to offer superior control and tactile immersion for enthusiasts.

Advanced Control and Responsiveness

Strategically positioned on the side edges of the frame, these triggers allow for a natural grip during horizontal gameplay. To ensure high precision, the triggers are expected to support a 600Hz sampling rate. This high frequency aims to eliminate input lag, providing a more responsive experience during fast-paced competitive gaming.

The system is powered by dual independent control chips. By processing instructions separately, these chips minimize delay between a physical touch and the on-screen action. Furthermore, a specialized "anti-sweat" algorithm has been implemented to maintain touch accuracy during extended gaming sessions.

Immersive Haptic Feedback

To replicate the feel of mechanical buttons, the iQOO 15 Ultra utilizes a linear motor to provide haptic feedback. This technology offers tactile confirmation whenever a trigger is pressed. Users will also have the ability to customize mapping, creating unique shortcuts and complex combos tailored to their playstyle.

Performance and Availability

Internal testing highlights the device's immense power, with the iQOO 15 Ultra recently surpassing 4.5 million points on the AnTuTu benchmark. The handset will be available in two distinct finishes: 2077 (Black) and 2049 (Silver). The official launch is scheduled to take place in China in early 2025, ahead of the Spring Festival.
