iQOO has officially teased the upcoming launch of the iQOO 15R in India. This new addition follows the flagship iQOO 15, which debuted in November 2025. While a specific launch date has not been announced, the company confirmed the device will be available via Amazon.
Design and Visual Features
Teaser images shared by iQOO India CEO Nipun Marya highlight a distinctive aesthetic for the new model. The iQOO 15R features a rear panel with a grey multi-tone checkered pattern and curved edges for better ergonomics. The device also includes a square-shaped floating camera module with rounded corners, housing a dual-camera setup. An external LED flash is positioned next to the module, maintaining a clean look similar to the premium iQOO 15.
Anticipated Performance and Software
Under the hood, the iQOO 15R is expected to run on OriginOS, likely based on Android 16. Industry reports suggest the device may be a rebranded version of the iQOO Z11 Turbo. If these reports hold true, the smartphone could be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, positioning it as a high-performance contender in the Indian market.
Expected Specifications
Drawing comparisons from its international counterparts, the iQOO 15R may feature a 6.59-inch display and a metal frame construction. High-end features such as an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner and IP68/IP69 dust and water resistance are also rumored. On the photography front, expectations point toward a 200-megapixel primary sensor for high-resolution imaging.
