The smartphone brand iQOO has officially confirmed the arrival of the iQOO 15R in the Indian market. Following weeks of anticipation, the device is scheduled for a formal launch on February 24.
The upcoming handset is expected to be a high-performance contender, powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset. It will operate on OriginOS, which is based on the Android 16 operating system. Early retail listings suggest the device will be priced under INR 55,000 (approximately $599), positioning it as a competitive premium option.
Based on current information, the iQOO 15R appears to be a rebranded version of the iQOO Z11 Turbo, which was recently introduced in China. Key hardware highlights include a 6.59-inch AMOLED display featuring a smooth 144Hz refresh rate.
In terms of imaging, the phone is expected to feature a 200MP primary rear camera as part of a dual-camera configuration. One of the most significant features is the massive 7,600mAh silicon-carbon battery, designed to offer extended usage times for power users.
