A recent report suggests iQOO won't release any new Neo series smartphones in India throughout 2026. The decision marks a significant shift in the company's regional strategy as it responds to challenging market conditions.
Why iQOO is Skipping the Neo Series in India
The last Neo series device to reach Indian shores was the iQOO Neo10, which launched in May 2025. Since then, the lineup has gone quiet in the country despite continued releases in other markets.
According to industry sources, iQOO is restructuring its smartphone portfolio due to increasing component costs. Rather than expanding the Neo series, the company plans to concentrate its resources on flagship products that offer higher margins and stronger brand positioning.

What This Means for the Neo11
If these reports prove accurate, Indian consumers won't see the iQOO Neo11 launch locally. The device debuted in China during October 2025 and packs impressive specifications that would have competed strongly in the upper mid-range segment.
The Neo11 features a Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC paired with iQOO's proprietary Q2 gaming chipset. It sports a 6.82-inch LTPO AMOLED display, a substantial 7,500mAh battery, and 100W wired fast charging support. The dual-rear camera setup rounds out the hardware package.
iQOO's Current Indian Focus
Despite the Neo series pause, iQOO remains active in India. The company recently introduced the iQOO 15R and is preparing to launch the iQOO Z11x in the market. These releases suggest iQOO isn't retreating from India entirely—just being more selective about which products make the cut.
The strategic pivot toward flagships could help iQOO strengthen its premium positioning against competitors like Samsung and OnePlus. However, budget-conscious consumers who appreciated the Neo series' value proposition may need to look elsewhere in 2026.
