OnePlus is expanding its tablet lineup with two new models on the horizon. The company plans to launch a Pro variant of its existing slate alongside a compact alternative that targets users who prefer smaller devices.

OnePlus Pad 3 Pro Specifications

The OnePlus Pad 3 debuted in June last year, and now a Pro version is in development. According to tipster Digital Chat Station, the Pad 3 Pro will feature a custom 13.2-inch display paired with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset.

The tablet will pack a large battery capacity and offer up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM. Storage options will reach 512GB using UFS 4.1 technology. OnePlus plans to release the device in green and titanium color variants.

Compact OnePlus Pad Mini in Development

Besides the Pro model, OnePlus is working on a smaller tablet with an 8.8-inch display. This compact device will run on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 SoC and feature a soft-light display panel.

The smaller tablet will likely debut after the Pad 3 Pro launches. Industry sources suggest it could be named the OnePlus Pad Mini, targeting users who want flagship performance in a more portable form factor.

Both tablets signal OnePlus' commitment to the Android tablet market, competing with other gaming-focused tablets that also use Qualcomm's latest flagship processors.
