New Leaks Reveal Processor Details for Upcoming Poco and Oppo Smartphones

Following the emergence of the Poco X8 Pro on certification databases, new leaks have shed light on the internal hardware of the upcoming Poco X8 series and Oppo K15 Turbo lineup. Both brands are reportedly preparing to launch mid-range devices equipped with high-performance MediaTek Dimensity processors.

According to recent industry reports, the standard Poco X8 Pro and the Oppo K15 Turbo are expected to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 chipset. These devices aim to balance power efficiency with robust performance for daily tasks and gaming.

For users seeking more power, the Poco X8 Pro Max and the Oppo K15 Turbo Pro are rumored to feature the flagship-grade MediaTek Dimensity 9500s. Notably, some conflicting reports suggest that the Oppo K15 Turbo Pro might instead feature the next-generation 3nm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, though this remains unconfirmed by the manufacturer.

Expected Features and Regional Availability

The Poco X8 Pro was recently spotted on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) website, indicating an imminent launch in the Indian market. It is anticipated to feature a 6.67-inch 1.5K LTPS AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. One of the most striking rumors is the inclusion of a massive 8,000mAh battery supporting 100W fast charging and an IP68 rating for water resistance.

Meanwhile, the Oppo K15 Turbo is tipped to offer a unique hardware feature: an integrated waterproof active cooling fan. This addition would be designed to maintain performance during intensive use on its 6.59-inch 1.5K flat display.

Pricing for the Poco X8 Pro is expected to start above Rs. 30,000, marking a slight increase compared to its predecessor. As neither brand has officially confirmed these specifications, technical details may change prior to the official launch events.
