Following the recent release of its Pro siblings, the standard Realme 16 has officially made its debut in Vietnam. This new entry sets itself apart with a trendy Air Design, featuring a horizontal camera visor on the rear panel reminiscent of modern flagship aesthetics.
The smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6400 Turbo chipset, paired with 8GB of RAM and storage options ranging from 128GB to 256GB. One of the most notable features is the massive 7,000mAh battery, which supports 60W fast charging for long-lasting performance.
For the display, the Realme 16 offers a 6.57-inch AMOLED panel with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. The screen is designed for high visibility with a peak brightness of 4,500 nits and is protected by AGC DT-Star D+ tempered glass. It also integrates an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor and a high-resolution 50MP selfie camera.
On the back, the camera visor houses a 50MP main sensor (IMX852) and a 2MP monochrome lens. A unique addition is the selfie mirror located on the edge, enabling users to capture high-quality selfies using the superior rear camera. The device also utilizes LumaColor Image processing for enhanced photography.
Built to be durable, the phone carries a comprehensive IP66/68/69/69K rating for water and dust resistance. It remains relatively slim at 8.1mm and weighs 183 grams. The Realme 16 is available in White Swan and Black Cloud finishes, with pricing starting at approximately $443 for the 8/256GB model.
