Xiaomi’s sub-brand has officially expanded its smartphone lineup in India with the debut of the Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G and the Redmi Note 15 Pro+ 5G. These new handsets join the base Redmi Note 15 model, offering significant upgrades in display technology and imaging capabilities.
Focusing on high-end visuals, both models feature a massive 6.83-inch AMOLED screen. To ensure fluid navigation and gaming, the panels support a 144Hz refresh rate. On the software side, both devices are among the first to ship with HyperOS 2, based on the latest Android 15 operating system.
Technical Specifications and Performance
A major highlight of the series is the 200-megapixel primary sensor integrated into a dual rear camera system, aimed at delivering ultra-high-resolution photography. While they share camera hardware, the internal processing power differs between the two variants:
- The Redmi Note 15 Pro+ 5G is powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset.
- The Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G utilizes a MediaTek SoC to drive its performance.
With these additions, the series aims to compete in the mid-range segment by combining advanced camera hardware with premium display specifications.
