Redmi has officially confirmed the launch event for its upcoming Turbo 5 smartphone series in China. Scheduled for January 29, the event will introduce the Turbo 5 and the Turbo 5 Max, alongside several other ecosystem products.
The Turbo 5 series boasts a premium build, featuring a CNC-machined metal frame and a fiberglass rear panel. Design elements include rounded corners and a dual LED flash setup. The Turbo 5 Max, specifically, will be available in vibrant colors like Sunrise Orange and Ocean Breeze Blue.
Under the hood, the Turbo 5 Max is set to deliver high performance with the MediaTek Dimensity 9500s chipset. One of its most striking features is a massive 9,000mAh battery, which supports 100W fast wired charging for quick power-ups.
Beyond smartphones, Redmi plans to expand its accessory and tablet lineup. The event will also see the debut of the Buds 8 Pro and a special Pad 2 Pro Harry Potter Edition, catering to fans of the franchise.
