A new hands-on video showcasing the Samsung Galaxy A37 and Galaxy A57 has surfaced from Vietnam, giving us an extended look at Samsung's upcoming mid-range smartphones. The clip arrives just days before Samsung's official announcement scheduled for Wednesday.

Pricing Details Revealed

The Vietnamese video confirms local pricing for both devices. The Galaxy A37 with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage will retail for VND 10,990,000, which converts to approximately $420 or €365. The Galaxy A57 in the same configuration costs VND 12,490,000, roughly $475 or €410.

These figures represent a notable increase from their predecessors. The Galaxy A36 launched at VND 8,290,000, while the A56 started at VND 9,990,000. Samsung appears to be maintaining the 8/128GB base configuration for its A-series lineup, even as the premium S-series has moved to 12/256GB as standard.

Design and Build Quality

The video reveals a refined design language for both phones. They are slimmer than their 2025 predecessors, though the camera island now features an additional raised "step" for visual distinction. Samsung's signature "Key Island" design element remains intact, providing a raised area around the power and volume buttons.

Inside the box, buyers will find the essentials: a USB cable, SIM ejector tool, and quick start guide. The A57 continues the premium touch with a metal frame, while the A37 sticks with a more practical plastic construction.

Performance and Specifications

The Galaxy A37 swaps out the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 from its predecessor for the Exynos 1480 chipset. This processor previously powered the Galaxy A55, offering proven mid-range performance. Meanwhile, the Galaxy A57 steps up with the newer Exynos 1680, delivering extra processing power for demanding users.

Both devices share identical 6.7-inch displays with 120Hz refresh rates and 1,200 nits peak brightness. The battery capacity remains at 5,000mAh across both models, supporting 45W wired charging without wireless options.

Samsung continues its extended software support commitment. Both phones will receive 6 years of OS updates and launch with One UI 8.5 based on Android 16 out of the box.

Camera Capabilities

The camera setup is identical on both models. A 50MP main sensor leads the rear array, joined by an 8MP ultra-wide lens and 5MP macro camera. For selfies, there's a 12MP front-facing shooter. Video recording caps at 4K resolution at 30 frames per second on both devices.
