Why the Delay?
Samsung is likely trying to avoid overshadowing its flagship lineup. The Galaxy S26 series is launching on February 25, and the company probably wants to give its premium devices full attention before introducing these mid-range alternatives.
Galaxy A37 Specifications
The Galaxy A37 is shaping up as a solid mid-range option. It features a 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, making scrolling and animations noticeably smoother than standard 60Hz panels. Under the hood, the Exynos 1480 SoC handles processing duties.
For photography, the A37 packs a 50MP main camera with a 1/1.56-inch type sensor, an 8MP ultrawide lens, and a 5MP macro shooter. The front gets a 12MP selfie camera. The Galaxy A57 steps things up slightly with a 6.6-inch flat AMOLED screen, also running at 120Hz. It's powered by the newer Exynos 1680 SoC and includes UFS 3.1 storage for faster app loading.
Camera capabilities include a 50MP main sensor with optical image stabilization, a 12MP ultrawide lens, a 5MP macro camera, and a 12MP front-facing camera. Like its sibling, it has a 5,000 mAh battery with 45W wired charging support. The A57 improves durability with an IP68 rating and maintains a slim profile at just 6.9mm thick and 182g.
