Samsung has added a new member to its F-series lineup with the official launch of the Galaxy F70e. This budget-friendly smartphone shares most of its internal hardware with the recently released Galaxy A07, but brings a fresh design approach with a faux leather finish on the back panel and a more competitive starting price point.

The Galaxy F70e features a 6.7-inch IPS LCD display with HD+ resolution and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. The panel can reach 800 nits at peak brightness, which helps with outdoor visibility. An 8MP selfie camera sits in a centered punch-hole cutout at the top of the screen for video calls and self-portraits.

On the camera front, the F70e packs a 50MP main shooter with an f/1.8 aperture that should handle everyday photography well. Samsung paired this with a 2MP depth sensor for portrait shots and an LED flash for low-light situations. The camera setup keeps things simple without unnecessary filler lenses.

Under the hood, the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset powers the device. This processor handles everyday tasks and 5G connectivity. The phone comes with either 4GB or 6GB of RAM paired with 128GB of internal storage. If you need more space, the hybrid SIM slot accepts microSD cards for storage expansion.

Software duties are handled by One UI 8.0 running on top of Android 16. Samsung has committed to six years of OS upgrades and security patches for this device, which is impressive for a budget phone. Other practical features include a 3.5mm headphone jack and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner integrated into the power button.

The 6,000 mAh battery is one of the standout features here, promising extended usage between charges. The phone will be available in Spotlight Blue and Limelight Green color options. The base 4GB/128GB model starts at INR 12,499 ($138), while the 6GB/128GB variant costs INR 13,999 ($154). Sales begin February 17 through Samsung.com, Flipkart, and select offline retailers.
