Samsung has officially confirmed the launch date for its upcoming flagship lineup. The Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+, and Galaxy S26 Ultra will debut on February 25 at a Galaxy Unpacked event in San Francisco. The company has also opened pre-reservations for customers looking to secure their devices early.

Samsung Galaxy S26 Launch Date Confirmed for February 25

The next Galaxy Unpacked event follows earlier leaks that suggested a late February timeframe. Samsung will host the launch in San Francisco and stream it live on its official website and YouTube channel. This marks the company's first major flagship announcement of 2026.

Pre-Reservation Details

Samsung has started accepting pre-reservations through its regional websites. In India, customers can pay a small fee to secure early access to the Galaxy S26 phones when they become available. Other markets get a slightly different incentive package.

Registering for the event in global markets nets you a $30 or €30 voucher, depending on your region. You also get a trade-in bonus and a chance to win additional vouchers. These perks apply across all three models in the lineup.

Expected Specifications

Samsung Galaxy S26 Launch Date Confirmed for February 25

The Galaxy S26 and S26+ will reportedly ship with the Exynos 2600 processor in most international markets. Both phones keep the same screen sizes as the previous generation. RAM gets bumped to 12GB across the board.

Battery capacities stick to familiar numbers. The standard S26 packs a 4,300mAh cell, while the S26+ carries a 4,900mAh battery matching the current S25+. Camera hardware on both models is expected to remain unchanged from last year.

The Galaxy S26 Ultra takes a different approach with silicon. It uses a custom Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy chip. Battery capacity sits at 5,000mAh with support for 60W wired charging and 25W wireless charging. Camera resolution stays the same, but the lenses may feature larger apertures for better low-light performance.

Most technical details have already leaked ahead of the official announcement. You won't need to wait for the February 25 event to know what Samsung has planned.
