Samsung has officially unveiled its latest flagship lineup at the annual Unpacked event. The Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+, and Galaxy S26 Ultra are now available for pre-order, with retail sales starting March 11.
This year's pricing structure reflects the volatile memory market. Component costs have climbed significantly over the past few months, and smartphone manufacturers haven't been immune to these pressures. Samsung adjusted its pricing strategy accordingly.
Storage and Memory Changes
The standard Galaxy S26 now ships with 256GB of base storage, doubling last year's 128GB starting point for the S25. Despite this upgrade, prices have increased slightly due to rising memory costs. The Galaxy S26+ maintains its 256GB baseline but also sees a price bump compared to its predecessor.
The Galaxy S26 Ultra breaks from this pattern somewhat. Its entry-level 12GB/256GB configuration actually costs less than the Galaxy S25 Ultra did at launch in select regions. However, the higher memory tiers—512GB and 1TB—carry premium price tags that reflect current market conditions.
Exclusive Storage Configuration
Only the Galaxy S26 Ultra offers a 1TB storage option this generation. This top-tier model comes equipped with 16GB of RAM, up from the 12GB found in last year's equivalent configuration. This represents a meaningful upgrade for power users who need maximum storage and multitasking capability.
Pre-order Incentives
Customers who pre-reserved their devices should check their email inboxes for exclusive discount codes worth $30 or €30 off their purchase. Additionally, several regions qualify for Samsung's traditional storage upgrade promotion, allowing buyers to purchase a higher-capacity model at a lower-tier price point.
The 1TB Galaxy S26 Ultra doesn't qualify as a straight storage upgrade, but Samsung is offering promotional discounts on this configuration as well.
Accessory Pricing
Samsung also introduced the Galaxy Buds4 and Buds4 Pro alongside its smartphone lineup. The standard Buds4 retail for $180/€180, while the Buds4 Pro command $250/€250—matching last year's pricing exactly.
The complete Galaxy S26 series launches across major markets including the US, Europe, UK, India, Canada, and Australia on March 11. Early adopters can secure their devices now through Samsung's pre-order program.
