With the official Galaxy Unpacked event approaching, new details regarding the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra have surfaced. Recent reports provide a comprehensive look at the flagship's hardware and design, featuring the device in Cobalt Violet and Black color options.

The Galaxy S26 Ultra is expected to feature a 6.9-inch Dynamic AMOLED display with a QHD+ resolution and an adaptive 1-120Hz refresh rate. A notable addition is the Privacy Display technology, designed to restrict visibility from side angles. The device will also include a 12MP front-facing camera and maintain S Pen compatibility.

In terms of physical dimensions, the handset measures approximately 163.6 x 78.1 x 7.9mm and weighs 214 grams. This makes it slightly thinner and lighter than its predecessor. Performance will be driven by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, paired with storage options ranging from 256GB to 1TB.

The camera system sees a significant update with a 200MP main sensor featuring an f/1.4 aperture for improved low-light performance. This is supported by a 50MP ultrawide lens, a 50MP periscope telephoto, and a 12MP secondary telephoto lens. Powering the device is a 5,000mAh battery, which is rumored to support faster 60W wired charging.

Samsung is anticipated to announce the Galaxy S26 series on February 25, with general availability expected to begin on March 11.
