Tecno is gearing up to launch its latest mid-range smartphone in India this week. The Tecno Pova Curve 2 5G has now received official confirmation for two of its standout features. According to details shared on Tecno's India website, the phone will pack an 8,000mAh battery alongside a curved display panel.

This combination puts the Pova Curve 2 in rare company. Tecno claims it will be the world's slimmest smartphone with an 8,000mAh battery and a curved screen. The device measures just 7.42mm thick and weighs 195 grams. That's impressive considering most phones with comparable battery capacities tend to be noticeably bulkier.

Battery life appears to be a major selling point here. Tecno states the Pova Curve 2 can deliver up to two days of usage from a single charge. The phone also features a striking design with a triangular rear camera module that houses three sensors. The back panel includes a transparent accent element in the bottom-right corner, adding a touch of visual interest. Buyers will have three color options to choose from at launch.
Expected Specifications
While Tecno has confirmed the battery and display type, several other specs have surfaced through leaks. The Pova Curve 2 5G is rumored to use a MediaTek Dimensity 7100 chipset. The display should measure 6.78 inches with AMOLED technology and a 144Hz refresh rate for smooth scrolling and gaming.
Camera duties are expected to fall to a 50MP main sensor, though details about the supporting lenses remain unclear. The official launch event is scheduled for February 13 in India. Pricing information should be revealed at that time, along with full availability details.
