Tecno has confirmed that the Tecno Pova Curve 2 is launching in India on February 13. Along with the date, the company also shared official images that show the phone’s overall look. Separately, a new leak has outlined the key specs, including the chipset, display, cameras, and battery.
Launch date and official design
The official teasers highlight a slim profile and a curved design language on the back. The rear camera area has been reworked too, with a new module that houses 3 sensors. Tecno’s images show the phone in silver, black, and purple, each with a matte-style rear panel. The back also appears to use bold lines and textures to make the finish stand out under light.

Leaked performance and display details
According to the leak, the phone runs on the Dimensity 7100 SoC and can be configured with up to 12GB of RAM. That chip has already shown up in other recent midrange devices, including the Infinix Note Edge, and we covered it in a related report: Infinix Note Edge Official: Ultra-Slim with Dimensity 7100. If this spec holds, it should place the Pova Curve 2 in the same performance bracket as other Dimensity 7-series phones focused on smooth daily use and gaming.
The screen is tipped to be a 6.78-inch curved AMOLED panel with a 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. A 144Hz mode typically helps reduce motion blur in fast scrolling and games, but it can also increase power draw depending on how it’s implemented. For more context on the trend of high-refresh panels, see: Realme P4 Power Unboxing: 10,001mAh Battery and 144Hz Display. Tecno hasn’t confirmed these display specs yet, so they should be treated as leak-only for now.

Cameras, battery, and software (leak)
On the camera side, the leak points to a 50MP main rear camera and a 13MP selfie camera. Battery capacity is listed at 7,750mAh with 45W fast charging, which is unusually large for this segment. The phone is also said to carry an IP64 rating for dust and water resistance. Software-wise, the leak claims Android 16 out of the box, which would be a notable detail if confirmed at launch.
With the launch locked for February 13, official specs should follow shortly through Tecno’s India announcements. Until then, the confirmed parts are the date and the industrial design, while the chipset, display, and battery information remain unofficial. If you’re tracking the series, it’s worth watching for the final camera sensor details and exact charging claims when the phone goes official.
