Xiaomi is preparing to expand its flagship lineup to global markets. According to leakster Yogesh Brar, the company will launch two models internationally around MWC time between March 2-5. Europe should receive them just before the event, while India reportedly gets its launch in early March.
Which Models Are Going Global?
The standard Xiaomi 17 and the Xiaomi 17 Ultra (including the Leica Edition) are the two flagships heading to international markets. However, the 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max will remain exclusive to China. This isn't unusual for Xiaomi, which often reserves certain variants for its domestic market.
Xiaomi 17 Color Options
The compact Xiaomi 17 will ship in three colors for global buyers: Blue, Green, and Black. The Green variant is new for international markets – it wasn't available when the phone launched in China. Interestingly, the Chinese market got a Pink model that won't make it to global shelves.

Xiaomi 17 Ultra Colors and Specs
The flagship Xiaomi 17 Ultra comes in Starry Green, White, and Black for global customers. The Chinese version already offered Green, along with a Purple option that isn't making the trip overseas. The Leica Edition isn't pictured in these renders, but it will have exclusive Black and Off White colorways.
There's one notable downgrade for the global market. The Xiaomi 17 Ultra will have a 6,000mAh battery instead of the 6,800mAh cell found in the Chinese version. Despite the smaller battery, the phone won't get slimmer – it measures 8.29mm, identical to the Chinese model. Weight stays at 223g. The Leica Edition is slightly thicker at 8.46mm and heavier at 230g.

Pricing Expectations
Earlier leaks suggest European pricing will match the previous generation. The Xiaomi 17 with 512GB storage is expected to cost €1,100, which likely means €1,000 for the 256GB base model. The Xiaomi 17 Ultra 512GB will reportedly hit €1,500. These are the same prices as the Xiaomi 15 series that launched globally at MWC 2025.
Xiaomi fans outside China have been waiting for these flagships. The renders confirm the company is keeping its global launch timeline consistent with previous years. With MWC just weeks away, official announcements should arrive soon.
