The Xiaomi 17, which debuted in China last September, is preparing for its highly anticipated international launch. New details from a German retailer have provided a glimpse into the device's potential European pricing and technical specifications.
According to the leaked listing, the Xiaomi 17 with 512GB of storage is expected to retail for €1,099. This suggests that a base model featuring 256GB of storage could start at approximately €999. While these figures are not yet official, they align with the premium positioning of the series.
A notable change for the international version involves the battery. The European model is listed with a 6,330 mAh battery, which is slightly smaller than the 7,000 mAh capacity found in the Chinese variant. Despite this adjustment, the device remains a powerhouse in the flagship segment.
The core hardware for the global release is expected to match the Chinese original. The Xiaomi 17 will likely feature a 6.3-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 3,500 nits. Under the hood, it is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset.
Photography enthusiasts can expect a versatile setup, including a 50MP main sensor, a 50MP telephoto lens with 2.6x optical zoom, and a 50MP ultrawide camera. For security, the phone utilizes an advanced ultrasonic under-display fingerprint scanner.
